Why Wearing Face Masks is Important During Covid-19:
- CDC Recommendation: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/cloth-face-cover.html
- Key Points From the Article → The virus can easily spread from person to person through speaking, coughing, sneezing - even in those that are exhibiting no symptoms. It is critical to maintain proper social distancing (6 feet from all persons). However, the CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings/masks in areas where social distancing may not be feasible (ei. Grocery stores, pharmacies, doctors offices). Cloth face coverings fashioned from household items or made at home from common materials at low cost can be used as an additional public health measure.
