Cowell College boasts a distinguished history of hand-operated letterpress printing and book arts instruction, which dates back to 1969 and includes many innovative print and book artists of the Bay Area. An oral history of the Cowell Press conducted and edited by Cowell alumnus Gregory Graalfs and Irene Reti was published in 2005. You can find more information about this publication here.
