The Mock Trial team at UCSC sent seven students, Shane Weathers, Antonio Vazquez, Sophia Sholtz, Mikaela Marcos, Elyes Chettfour, Karishma Joshi, and Elizabeth Ellzondo, to the UCLASSIC tournament at UCLA and competed against forty teams. The team was awarded the Class Act Aaward which was awarded for demonstrating good sportsmanship and spirit. The team will be continuing on to the regional competition on February 14 at Fresno State University.
