How to make a maintenance request

If you need assistance from our maintenance staff, whether it is to replace a broken light, service a vacuum cleaner, or deal with a leak or a broken heater, you need to submit a “fixit ticket”. This is done on line at www.fixit.ucsc.edu. It is important to make these requests in a timely manner, not only because doing so will make your living environment better, but also so that small issues do not grow into large ones.

The Priority Housing Application Period for 2012-13 housing is April 16-23, 2012.

You must submit an application during this period to be considered for the Cowell Housing Lottery and Room Selection. More information regarding on campus living next year will come out near the end of Winter Quarter. Early in Spring Quarter, there will be informational workshops you may attend to get a better idea of the housing selection process here at Cowell.
