Acquire Presents: Pump It Up! (3/12/09)

Acquire is thrilled to announce its debut benefit show for Playpumps International. Playpumps is a humanitarian organization that installs ingenious water supply systems in Sub-Saharan Africa.

50% of all proceeds from this show will benefit Playpumps. The other 50% of the money raised will support the recording of Acquire's first CD. Portions of the CD proceeds will also go to Playpumps. A brief informational video about Playpumps will also be shown at the event.

Tickets are $3 for Cowell/Stevenson affiliates, $5 for other UCSC students/staff/faculty, and $10 for the community.

Acquire will be joined at the show by Cloud 9 and Isang Himig, so come to show your support for UCSC's a cappella groups and a great cause!
