Alumni Association Award

Jerroyd Moore, a junior at Cowell and member of the Cowell Senate, is the 2008-09 recipient of the UCSC Alumni Association College Service Award. Jerroyd was nominated for the award by the college staff.

Jerroyd is beginning his third year as a member of the Cowell College Senate and currently serves as the Senate's Chairperson. The Cowell staff nominated Jerroyd for the College Service Award based on his leadership to the Cowell Senate. In particular, staff wished to recognize his management of the Cowell DVD library and his tireless efforts to provide student voice to the planning of the dining hall renovation. Jerroyd also served the college as a Resident Assistant in Turner House during the 2007-08 academic year.
