New Orleans College Night 11/20/08

Join staff, faculty, and students at our own mini version of the French Quarter of New Orleans on Thursday, November 20, from 5:30-7pm at the Stevenson Events Center. Take a walk down Bourbon or St. Peters Street. In addition to delicious food, we'll have a live soul band, Straight Up Sinners (Sebastian, please link to http://www.straightupsinners.com) performing from 5:45-6:45pm. Scour the room for trivia answers and win prizes. We guarantee you'll have some fun. And hey, it's dinner closer to home! Come by anytime between 5:30 and 7pm, as dinner is served buffet style tonight.

The catered menu includes Jambalaya, catfish, ratatouille, collard greens, red beans and rice, green salad, and crab cakes. For dessert we'll have benets and sweet potato pie.

Admission: Students with a meal plan: swipe your card at the door. Off campus student, purchase a ticket for $1 in advance from the Cowell Programs Office, room 135 (tickets subsidized by the Cowell Senate). Faculty and staff, obtain tickets from the Provosts' Office (Room 117) in advance.
