Thanksgiving College Night 11/20/07

Don't miss the grandest College Night of the year! For this one you'll need a ticket in advance! (See below.) Cowell students, faculty, and staff are invited to this annual Cowell tradition.

The aroma of a traditional turkey dinner - with all the trimmings - will permeate the room as faculty and staff flaunt their turkey-carving skills at each table. A delicious menu consisting of dinner rolls, wild rice salad, turkey, cranberry-apple stuffing, tofurkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, yams with brown sugar and pecans, green bean casserole, followed by apple and pumpkin pies will be served.

Following the family-style dinner will be performances by three UCSC student a cappella groups: Isang Himig , Cloud 9 , and Cowell's own Acquire .

Special Thanksgiving Ticket Info: Tickets required, available in advance. (Cowell affiliates only for dinner.) Ticket distribution will begin Thursday, Nov. 15, during lunch and dinner, at a table outside the Dining Hall. This event will sell out so get your ticket early. On the back of the ticket, write what you are most thankful for; many of your comments will be read during the event.
