Sometimes students choose to take a break from the university for many reasons from the desire to take courses at another institution, to personal, family, or medical needs. Depending on ones status, a student may either take a leave of absence, or withdraw from the university. If a student needs to withdraw from the university, they will need to apply for readmission to return, so it's important to understand what is involved in the readmission process. Whether or not students need to leave the university in between quarters vs. during the quarter has financial implications and other considerations.
