Cowell College Advisers are available to provide you with guidance on academic scheduling and planning for General Education requirements and University requirements. They can also assist you in identifying additional campus resources to enhance your academic career. Once a student proposes or declares a major, s/he gains a major adviser in an academic department and should refer major-related questions to this person.

Phone or in-person appointments with College Advisers can be made by calling our Main Office at (831) 459-2253. During the academic school year, current students can make appointments or come to drop-in advising hours.

• Appointments are for 30 minute time-slots and must be made at least one day in advance (no same-day apts.)
• Drop-in advising hours are typically Monday-Friday between 9:30am-11:30am and 1:30pm-3:30pm for quick questions.
• We encourage you to call ahead and confirm the availability of our advisers and to clarify whether you should make an appointment or come to drop-in advising.

Questions can also be emailed to and an advising staff member will respond within 1-2 business days. Please do not individually email all three advisers with the same question.
