Family & Friends Day 2024

Thank you for your interest in Family & Friends Day! We are excited that so many families, friends, and supporters have decided to join us. We are at capacity for this event, but please fill out this form to be added to our waiting list. We hope to let people know by Thursday if we can accommodate others. Rest assured, there will be an opportunity to engage with staff/faculty via Zoom this Spring and another Family and Friends Day next year. If you/your family are no longer planning to attend, please let us know so that we can accommodate those on our waitlist. If you have already booked flights/hotel but did not already RSVP, please let us know so that we can try and accommodate you.

Our Schedule
9 - 9:30 a.m. Check In - Outside the Stevenson Event Center
9:30 - 10 a.m. Welcome Breakfast
- Welcome to Cowell and Stevenson Colleges’ Family and Friends Day. Come join us for a continental breakfast and a chance to connect with staff and fellow families/friends.
10 - 10:45 a.m. Student Life Experience Panel - Stevenson Event Center
- Welcome from college staff, faculty, and student leaders. Hear more about our students’ experience and learn more about our college resources and support
11:00 - 11:30 a.m. Going Global at UCSC - Stevenson Event Center
- Learn how a global education is both possible and valuable.
11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Resource Fair - Cowell Courtyard
- Come learn about the many different academic, social, and cultural organizations affiliated with Cowell and Stevenson Colleges and find out what makes us so special! Also, don’t miss your chance to take a photo with Sammy the Slug!
Parking Information
There will be free parking in East Remote (Lot 104) and West Remote (Lot 127). You can also find additional parking via the Free Park Mobile App. You can download it by scanning the QR code.
Shuttles will run from East Remote to Cowell & Stevenson Colleges (also making stops at Crown/Merrill & C9/JRL Colleges) from 9:00 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Dining Hall information
RCC/OA, 9/JLR, and CW/ST Dining Halls will be open. Check out the UCSC Dining website for menus and learn about the Waits app.
